Flâneur
Flâneur es un proyecto personal que trata de la creación de una autoedición de fotolibros de fotografía urbana, a través de mis propias imágenes. Con este proyecto se busca captar la belleza de lo urbano y no tan fotografiado con el fin de revalorizar la estética urbana.
Flâneur is a personal project that consists of the creation of a self-published photobook of urban photography, through my own images. The aim of this work is to extract the beauty of the urban and the not-so-photographed, in order to revalue urban aesthetics.
Idea / The idea
Para que esta idea tuviera sentido fue necesario retroceder al siglo XIX y comprender el sentido de la palabra "Flânerie", refiriéndose a la actividad de un "Flâneur". Esto simboliza el hecho de pasear por las calles sin rumbo, a la espera de todas las impresiones que la ciudad o el entorno nos pueda dar. Este concepto fue impulsado en el ámbito literario a través de artistas como Walter Benjamin o Charles Baudelaire.
For this idea to make sense, it was necessary to go back to the 19th century and understand the meaning of the word "Flânerie", referring to the activity of a "Flâneur". This symbolises the fact of wandering through the streets aimlessly, waiting for all the impressions that the city or the environment can give us. This concept was promoted in the literary sphere by artists such as Walter Benjamin and Charles Baudelaire.
La ciudad / The city
Para la primera edición del fotolibro nos trasladamos a la ciudad de Valladolid. Una ciudad española de tamaño mediano. Sus calles reflejan el paso de los siglos a través de historia e innovación.
For the first edition of the photobook we moved to the city of Valladolid. A medium-sized city in Spain. Its streets reflect the passage of centuries through history and innovation.
El fotolibro / The photobook
Como resultado final de una colección de más de 120 imágenes, se realizó el primer fotolibro de esta auto-editorial. De la misma manera, también se llevó a cabo sobre otros soportes como postales o pósters.
As a final result of a collection of more than 120 images, the first photobook of this self-publishing company was produced. In the same way, it was also carried out on other formats such as postcards or posters.

Para la continuidad del proyecto se está trabajando en la toma de imágenes en diferentes ciudades de España: Murcia, Toledo, Valencia, Zaragoza. Con el fin de continuar la serie y hacer más ediciones del fotolibro en otras ciudades.
For the continuity of the project I am working on taking images in different cities of Spain like Murcia, Toledo, Valencia, Zaragoza... In order to continue the series and make more editions of the photobook in other cities.
